{"id":36254,"date":"2019-10-07T21:28:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-08T02:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dev.nitu.mx\/?p=36254"},"modified":"2019-10-08T00:13:19","modified_gmt":"2019-10-08T05:13:19","slug":"canal-offline-mantiene-fortaleza-frente-a-otas-expedia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nitu.mx\/index.php\/2019\/10\/07\/canal-offline-mantiene-fortaleza-frente-a-otas-expedia\/","title":{"rendered":"Canal offline mantiene fortaleza frente a OTA\u2019s: Expedia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Aunque las agencias de viajes en l\u00ednea (OTA\u2019s) han ganado un fuerte terreno en la venta de paquetes tur\u00edsticos, el canal offline sigue firme, principalmente en lo que se refiere a grupos, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Freddy Dom\u00ednguez, vicepresidente de Mercado de Expedia Group para Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco del Hospitality Tech &amp; Marketing Summit (HTM Summit) en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Dom\u00ednguez particip\u00f3 en el panel Mitos y Realidades del futuro de la reservaci\u00f3n online, en donde destac\u00f3 que Expedia sigue dando soporte a 3 mil 500 agencias offline, quienes atienden un nicho de mercado espec\u00edfico en el que las OTA\u2019s no han podido entrar tan fuerte.<\/p>\n<p>La ca\u00edda del gigante tur\u00edstico Thomas Cook fue uno de los temas centrales de este foro de an\u00e1lisis, en el que se puso en duda la permanencia de las agencias de viajes tradicionales y minoristas, al ser una de las fortalezas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda brit\u00e1nica.<\/p>\n<p>Freddy Dom\u00ednguez coincidi\u00f3 que el problema principal de Thomas Cook fue no saberse adaptar a los nuevos tiempos tanto en el plano tecnol\u00f3gico como en los nuevos h\u00e1bitos de consumo de los viajeros, pero eso no implica que los canales tradicionales no se ocupen o desaparezcan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa venta online ha crecido sustancialmente, adem\u00e1s, 70 por ciento de las transacciones que se hacen por los canales offline ya se pagan por una v\u00eda online.
