En el primer semestre 2019, el Aeropuerto Intercontinental de Quer\u00e9taro (AIQ) registr\u00f3 557 mil 210 pasajeros, lo que representa un crecimiento de cerca de 17 por ciento respecto al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o previo, inform\u00f3 la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Sustentable (Sedesu) del estado.<\/p>\n

Del total, 69 por ciento corresponde a pasajeros nacionales y 31 por ciento a internacionales.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuer\u00e9taro cuenta con un aeropuerto de gran infraestructura, moderno, renovado y con capacidad para incrementar la conectividad a\u00e9rea hacia otros destinos nacionales e internacionales, tanto para vuelos a destinos comerciales de pasajeros, como de carga\u201d, sostuvo a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado.<\/p>\n

En enero-junio de este a\u00f1o, la terminal a\u00e9rea queretana report\u00f3 27 mil 33 toneladas de carga, lo que represent\u00f3 un aumento anualizado de 11.6 por ciento. De dicho volumen, 50.2 por ciento corresponde a carga internacional y 49.8 por ciento a nacional.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a operaciones, en los primeros seis meses de 2019, se realizaron 27 mil 675 acciones, de las cuales 44 por ciento fueron vuelos comerciales; 11 por ciento en el \u00e1rea de carga, y 45 por ciento pertenecen a aviaci\u00f3n general.<\/p>\n

El AIQ conecta con los principales hubs de M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos; en 2015 eran 10 rutas comerciales, y en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os, se han sumado 25 destinos -20 nacionales y cinco internacionales- que conectan directamente con los aeropuertos m\u00e1s importantes de negocios y turismo.\u00a0(Aeropuerto Intercontinental de Quer\u00e9taro marca r\u00e9cord de pasajeros<\/a>).<\/p>\n

En el aeropuerto de Queretaro operan seis aerol\u00edneas, cuatro de ellas son mexicanas: Aerom\u00e9xico, TAR Aerol\u00edneas, Viva Aerob\u00fas y Volaris; y dos son extranjeras: United y American Airlines.<\/p>\n

Entre los destinos que operan las empresas desde la entidad, se encuentran: Monterrey, Guadalajara, Detroit, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas y Chicago; as\u00ed como Canc\u00fan, M\u00e9rida, Ixtapa, Acapulco, Huatulco, Oaxaca y Puerto Vallarta.<\/p>\n
